I would love to be able to say I have always used cloth diapers but I haven’t. During my first pregnancy, I remember people asking if I was going to cloth diaper. My response, “NO WAY! Gross! ” =( If I knew then what I know now. When my second child was about six months old, I made the decision to leave my job and become a stay at home mom. (Yay!)

It has been, hands down, the best decision I have ever made. With that decision came some cutbacks, obviously. My sister had begun using cloth diapers on her daughter and loved them. I was still skeptical so I watched… and listened. The seed was planted! I went to a cloth diaper workshop and I was hooked. I started researching and fell in love. I picked up a few used ones here and there and that’s when my journey began.

I quickly acquired a huge stash. I started talking them up to my friends and realized how passionate I had become about cloth diapering and living a more earth conscience lifestyle. I truly believe that more families would make the switch too, if only they were exposed to them. The next step for me was obvious, start my own business! What better way to do the two things I love best- stay home with my children and spread my love of cloth diapers. Green Cheeky Baby was born into the hands of my family… aunts, sisters and grandmother included. This is our way to stay close, raise our children and share with our community all the benefits of this wonderful world of cloth diapers.
